Hey guys! Welcome back to the 6th post (I know, time flies!)  on my diet and fitness series: Journey to the Summer! In this week I was able to go back to the gym and work out, which I pray will put me back on the right track after weeks of just eating right and not doing too much exercise. I weighed myself on my first day back at the gym and I am confident that I can get to my goal before the end of this series at least. Eating healthier was better this week and I was not eating as much bad food. I got very creative with my dinners also, so lets get straight into it and see for yourselves!  Sunday (915 calories):  Breakfast: Oats with semi- skimmed milk and two sliced strawberries (188 calories) Lunch: A croissant (185 calories) Dinner: Chicken and spinach pesto pasta (542 calories)  Boil your wholewheat pasta according to its packet instructions. Drain and leave to the side Cook chicken breast in a tablespoon of oil, seasoning with salt, pepper, 1 clove of minc

Good evening all and welcome back to the 5th blog post on my diet and fitness series: Journey to the Summer! This week, I was eating a bit cheekier I cannot lie. I am still doing really well with portion control and tried to cook more different meals, but unfortunately the pressure of all the delicious foods that my mum was making whilst I was home was too much, and in my last few days at home as you will see below, I cracked. I quickly became aware of my slip ups, and tried to correct them but I promise to be better, I'm back in Uni now and it should be easier to surround myself with good foods only! Many of the meals you see this week I wouldn't necessarily recommend, but I trust you can exercise your discretion and choose the meals which are more apparently healthy. Week 5 goes as follows: Sunday (925 calories): Breakfast: 1 Boiled egg with two slices of white seeded bread (316 calories) Lunch: I came back from church in a time that lulled between lunch and

Welcome back for my fourth entry of Journey to the Summer: a diet and fitness series. To start off, apologies for the lateness of this blog post! As it was Easter Sunday I did not release the post as I was spending a lot of time with family, and unfortunately (but fortunately for me) today, I was called into work and thus couldn't release at 6pm. I promise, it will be 6pm every Sunday hence forth! This week I incorporated what my family were eating into my diet, doing so in moderation. Instead of having a complete meal, I would pick and choose different things from their meals and have them with healthier alternatives. You should be able to see what I mean below, so here's to week 4! Sunday (958 calories): Breakfast: 1 slice of white bread with butter and a golden delicious apple (179 calories) Lunch: Wholewheat penne pasta with sweetcorn and a boiled egg (307 calories) Dinner: Chicken tacos with a plantain salsa and mashed avocados (472 calories) For th
